Mary custom built Doggone Coach’s website, drafted our logo, and created the internal administrative processes that allow us to dedicate so much time to high quality pet care.
It was Mary who first opened the door into the world of professional dog training and behavior for Karen. From that moment on, Mary has been a supportive mentor and dear friend, guiding Karen and Doggone Coach as they continue to grow and thrive.
Doggone Coach’s classes are co-taught by both Karen and Mary. They regularly collaborate on complex behavior cases for clients to ensure each dog’s training or behavior modification plan is worked on during walks or pet sitting visits.
In addition to being a member of our amazing training and admin team, Mary owns of her own dog training company, Beyond the Bark, where she specializes in aggression, social behavior, and puppy development.

Ari is our Customer Service Queen and Admin Wizard. She handles all of the behind-the-scenes administrative tasks, including pet care requests, training appointments, class registration, and troubleshooting.
Ari loves every opportunity to care for our clients’ pups and often jokes that it feels like being a surrogate dog mom.
Ari holds a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from the University of Maryland. Her favorite dog breeds are Belgian Tervurens, Flat-Coated Retrievers and standard, mini, and toy Poodles. In her free time, Ari loves to create art, read, and play video games.
